Sacred Steps: A Mountain Pilgrimage to Bhutan

  • Royal Kingdom of Bhutan (map)

Our First Journey. An Invitation to Mount Jomolhari, the Mountain of the Goddesses

Join us for Source Mountain’s inaugural pilgrimage — a rare and intimate passage into Bhutan and Mount Jomolhari, the Mountain of the Goddesses. This mountain is more than a peak — it is a living deity, a guardian of wisdom, and the spiritual heart of our journey. At its base, sacred temples and ancient meditation caves have drawn sages and seekers for centuries.

Guided by Bhutanese knowledge keepers, this exclusive journey will weave together the spiritual mountain practices of customs, cloth, craft, ancestral tradition, sacred landscapes, and the stories of mountain heritage.

We will walk ancestral trails to Jomolhari’s sacred base, where ritual offerings are made to honour the goddess and seek her blessing. Through meditative silence, storytelling, mountain rites, and shared reflection.

Timed to align with Bhutan’s vibrant highland festivals, this journey will also offer glimpses into the ceremonial life of mountain communities — where masked dances, chants, and fire rituals celebrate the balance between humanity and the natural world.

It will be a profound journey — a return to the sacred and quiet strength that rises from within.

This is our first journey. An invitation to walk with wisdom.
