  • Source Mountain supports communities whose lives, livelihoods and cultures are deeply connected to mountain landscapes.

Our focus is on women, children and pastoral communities, particularly those navigating the pressures of climate change, economic uncertainty and the loss of traditional knowledge and ways of life.

Currently, we are supporting organisations and chartity initiatives in Mongolia, Nepal and Bhutan, including Asral Mongolia, Tergar Charity Nepal and Peace on the Peaks.

As Source Mountain grows, we believe in trade and not aid and will be moving towards longer-term community-led partnership in co-designing Source Mountain products and services. Our aim is to support work that strengthens education and opportunity for young people, women's leadership, pastoral livelihoods, cultural continuity and the stewardship of mountain landscapes.

The communities and partners we support may change over time as needs evolve, but our commitment remains the same: to build enduring relationships and direct our resources where they can create meaningful, locally rooted impact.
