As we approach the Lunar New Year, the wisdom of East Asia invites us into a powerful energetic threshold—one that marks the transition from the Year of the Wood Snake into the Year of the Fire Horse.
Leading up to the Lunar New Year, Feng Shui Master Wendy Chan and Circle Leader Christine Chang Hanway invite you into a guided journey for women. Together, we will create a sacred space to consciously close the cycle of the Wood Snake and step intentionally into the vitality of the Fire Horse year.
This journey weaves together ancient wisdom, personal reflection, guided journaling, and heartfelt sharing, offering support as we align with the energetic shifts of the year ahead — both around us and from within.
The Energetic Transition: From Wood Snake to Fire Horse
The Wood Snake year (2025) carries a quiet, inward quality, supporting reflection, intuition, and deep inner transformation. Its energy works beneath the surface, inviting us to shed old skins, observe long-held patterns, and listen closely to what has been forming within.
The transition into the Fire Horse year (2026) marks a decisive turn outward. Fire Horse energy is bold, expressive, and fast-moving—an energy of momentum, visibility, and embodied truth. It calls us to move, speak, and live from what has already been gestating internally.
The sessions guide participants to cross the bridge between these two phases consciously — honouring the subtle inner work of the Snake year while preparing to step into the courage, clarity, and forward motion of the year ahead.

Path 1: Lunar New Year Wisdom & Energetic Orientation (Live Recording)
Our opening session is a learning-focused gathering designed to set the foundation for the journey.
We are honoured to welcome Feng Shui master Wendy Chan, who will share:
Lunar New Year customs and traditions
An introduction to Eastern astrology wisdom
The core themes and energetic qualities of the Yang Fire Horse year
Insight into how this energy may be experienced both collectively and personally
When you book Path 1, a recorded Zoom Session will be sent, offering context, meaning, and orientation—helping you understand the energetic landscape you are stepping into.

Path 2: Lunar New Year Wisdom Orientation (from above) AND Women’s Circle with Guided Journaling, Sharing & Integration (below)
Sunday 8 February | 5:30–7:00 pm (via Zoom)
The journey continues where a limited number of 9 participants can join a live women’s circle, led by artist and trained circle facilitator Christine Chang Hanway. You will receive a thoughtfully curated series of journal prompts via email two weeks before.
These prompts are designed to help you:
Reflect on what you are ready to release from the Yin Snake year
Gently uncover emotional or energetic blocks that may be asking for attention
Clarify what wants to be expressed, activated, or embodied in the Fire Horse year
The journaling is self-paced, allowing you to engage with the prompts in your own time and rhythm, creating space for honest and spacious inner inquiry.
The circle gathering offers a supportive space to witness and be witnessed—to hold and be held—as we share and integrate our reflections, while we honour connection with one another.
Participants will be invited (never required) to:
Share insights from their journaling journey
Speak intentions or themes they are carrying into the new year
This closing session supports the integration of your inner work, helping you step into the new year feeling grounded, clear, and aligned.
